Choose the minimum that fits.
An amount minimum looks at cart value. A cart quantity minimum counts items across the cart. Product MOQ applies to a selected product in the example.
| Rule | Example requirement | A cart that falls short |
|---|---|---|
| Order amount | $100 minimum | $80 subtotal: add $20 |
| Cart items | 10 items in total | 8 items: add 2 items |
| Product MOQ | 5 of a selected product | 3 of that product: add 2 |
One cart can meet one rule and miss another.
A $100 cart with 4 items meets a $100 amount minimum, but falls short of a 10-item cart minimum. In this website example, all enabled minimums must be met.
A minimum is not a fixed pack size.
A minimum of 20 allows 20, 21, or 23 items. A multiple of 20 allows 20, 40, or 60. Multiples are a separate concept and are not enforced by this website example.
